Data Collection Audit (Based on Code Review)

1. Device Identifiers (RevenueCat): Device ID (IDFV) is collected for subscription management. This is stored on RevenueCat servers, retained per their policy, and is NOT linked to an identifiable user.

2. Purchase History (RevenueCat & Apple): Subscription status and transactions help unlock Premium features. Info is stored on Apple & RevenueCat, retained indefinitely for restore, and is linked to your Apple ID.

3. Search Queries (Gemini API): Only the aviation topics you search are sent for real-time content generation. Queries are not stored by us; Google’s policy applies, and these are NOT linked to your identity.

Local-Only Data (NEVER leaves your device)

4. Usage Data: Generation count (30 free limit) and first launch date are only stored on your device in UserDefaults. Data is retained until the app is deleted and not linked to your personal identity.

5. Saved Topics (Vault): Topics you actively save, along with cover images, are kept only on your iOS device (UserDefaults/CoreData). Data is present until manually deleted or the app is uninstalled.

None of this data is synced to any server or shared with us. You have full control at all times.

What We NEVER Collect

No name, email, phone, or address. No contact list. No location data or movement tracking. No health or medical data.

No photos, videos, or camera access. No biometric data. No advertising IDs or persistent tracking cookies. No social account info.

No browsing/outside-app history is tracked. We don’t analyze, sell, or profile users for marketing. Data not listed in the audit is not collected, ever.

# Privacy Policy - Infinite ATPL

**Last Updated:** October 26, 2025
**Effective Date:** October 26, 2025

Infinite ATPL ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS mobile application Infinite ATPL (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

Search Queries
When you search for aviation topics (e.g., "Lift", "VOR navigation"), your query is sent to Google Gemini AI to generate educational content. These queries are processed in real-time and are not stored by us.

Saved Topics (Vault)
Topics you manually save to your Personal Vault are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

Device Identifiers
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat collects your device identifier (IDFV) to:

  • Determine subscription status (Free, Premium, Lifetime)

  • Enable Premium features on subscribed devices

  • Restore purchases across devices

  • Prevent subscription fraud

Purchase Information
When you purchase a Premium subscription, your transaction is processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status via RevenueCat to unlock Premium features. We do not have access to your payment card information.

Usage Data
The App tracks how many topics you have generated (for the 30 free limit) and stores this count locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number

  • Location data (GPS, coarse location)

  • Photos or videos

  • Contacts or address book

  • Health or fitness data

  • Browsing history outside the App

  • Social media profiles or data

  • Advertising identifiers for tracking

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 To Provide the Service

Educational Content Generation
Search queries are sent to Google Gemini AI to generate personalized ATPL explanations, quizzes, flashcards, and diagrams.

Subscription Management
Device identifiers and purchase history are used to unlock Premium features and restore purchases across your devices.

Usage Limits
Generation count is tracked locally to enforce the 30 free topic limit for non-Premium users.

2.2 To Improve the Service

Subscription Analytics
RevenueCat provides us with anonymized metrics (conversion rates, churn, revenue) to help us improve the subscription experience. These metrics are not linked to your personal identity.

We do NOT:

  • Sell your data to third parties
